P.G. Wodehouse Quick Service first edition book is for sale. This rare wartime P.G. Wodehouse book was published by Herbert Jenkins in 1940, confirmed to the Copyright Page, comes in its original dark red cloth and measures 5¼ x 7½ inches. This book conforms to “P.G. Wodehouse A Comprehensive Bibliography” by Eileen McIlvaine (A63).
The original binding is in Good condition being mottled over time and with fading to the gilt lettering to the spine. But the binding is complete and structurally sound.
There are 252 numbered pages with 4 pages of advertisements to the end of the book. The pages are in overall Very Good condition but lacks the blank front free endpaper and blank rear endpaper, and there are cracks to the hinges to the front and rear of the book that are cosmetic since the pages are still firmly bound into the book.
Quick Service is a scarce and collectable P.G. Wodehouse first edition book.
