"I’m sure there is are lower cost ways to fabricate a bracket to mount these lights on but I decided to modify the light bracket from Adventure MotoStuff. This bracket is made from aluminum and was easy to work with. I cut and ground the side bars flush with the support bars then cut to shortened the support bars by 1 ½” and predrilled the holes for the support fasteners supplied with this bracket. I also wanted to mount the light as close to the bottom of the fairing as possible so I notched a couple of notches on the back side of the cross bar to accept the light bracket when mounted on top of the bar instead of the bottom of the bar. See the following photo for the completed light assembly.
From this point all I needed to do was mount the light assembly to the bike using the supplied fasteners provided with the Adventure MotoStuff light bar. I did add plugs to the wiring from the lights going to the power wires and zip tied them inside the front of the fairing so I can unplug and remove the light assembly when I need to get the fairing off for service. The following are a few pictures of the completed light bar assembled and on the bike.
All in all I am pleased with the outcome. The lights provide as much visibility to others as the fork mounted driving lights in my opinion and provide a nice wide flat beam for fog, rain and at night is a supplement to the low beams and I don’t seem to blind oncoming traffic. I know the looks are not for everyone but the function is my main concern and if nothing else it adds to the what the heck is that factor."

Are these fog lights original equipment manufactured? No, these fog lights are manufactured by Hella. Many of our customers are able to install our fog light kit in a period of approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours. More involved installations may require drilling to position the lights where you want them. This kit includes mounting brackets that mount independently of the factory mounting points. If you have plastic inserts currently covering your fog light holes then you will have to remove those to install this kit, which is required of any fog light kit installation. The end result will be a clean look if done with care. For those uncomfortable with the install, have the kit professionally installed at a local car stereo shop.
Will this kit fit my vehicle listed in the page title? We have conducted extensive research and have sold hundreds of kits to customers with your same vehicle, with no fitment issues. Lamps are intended for installation within the factory fog lamp openings for vehicles without optional fog lights or as a direct upgrade replacement for the factory fog lights. The lights are meant to mount behind the factory pre-cut fog light holes from the inside of the bumper and kit includes everything needed to install for vehicles with or without factory fog lights.
Does the kit include everything I need? Yes, the kit includes 2 lamp enclosures for left and right side, powerful H3-55 watt 3900K bulbs, adjustable mounting hardware, complete wiring harness with fuse, illuminated switch, photo installation directions, US Based Support and warranty.
Can I hook the lights up to my factory light switch instead of the included switch? Of course, just run the wire to the factory switch instead of the included switch. The included switch can also be substituted with other switches available through BlingLights.
What types of bulbs come with this kit? Two powerful, genuine Hella H3 bulbs with an output of 55 watts a piece, 110 watts total! These bulbs are designed for maximum output and durability. The bulbs generally last many years without the need for replacement. There is a good chance the bulbs will outlast the life of the vehicle. H3 replacement bulbs are a common size bulb and can be purchased through us or anywhere else automotive bulbs are sold. Lamps are also LED compatible.
