MUDDY WATERS
"TORINO 1976 + Rare Footage MONTREUX 1977" DVD R
This wonderful collection of rare archival footage features a legendary Muddy's performance originally broadcasted by Italian RAI TV in 1976; recorded and broadcasted in black & white from Torino (the concert was part of the "Newport Jazz Festival" european Tour), this rare footage was never re-broadcast in this form (only a partial segment was included in the RAI TV Schegge series some years ago).
The original footage has been transferred from an old VHS Tape (i rate at least a 3d generation tape), so the video quality is very far from the nowadays standard but it is still watchable considering the age and the extreme rarity!
An extract from the 1977 Montreux Jazz Festival completes this not to be missed DVD!!!!
