Here is an outstanding DVD featuring two very rare and never commercially released performances by the great 'saxophone colossus' Sonny Rollins; the first part was filmed at Montreux and the audio published on vinyl as "The Cutting Edge" album in 1974; this rare video segment comes from a vintage tape in decent quality.
The second part of this DVD features a lost treasure coming from BBC archives: Sonny Rollins performing at Ronnie Scott's in 1974. After nearly 40 years unseen, this unique film shows a spellbinding performance from Rollins....fantastic newly discovered footage!!!!!!
