"OSCAR PETERSON & FRIENDS VOL. 1" DVD Very Rare!!!

Recorded in Canada, Toronto, CBC TV Studio - 1980

This DVD presents some
real rare footage from the legendary pianist Oscar Peterson;
during the 70's and 80's Oscar Peterson hosted many
Television Shows in USA (i.e. CTV's "Oscar Peterson presents" in
the mid 70's) and in England (i.e. "Piano Party" for British
BBC).

In 1980 he was featured on television specials on
Canadian CBC TV and had his own 13-week series called
"Oscar Peterson & Friends" where
he hosted many special guests.
Never officially released on video/DVD nor rebroadcasted,
now this
DVD
Vol. 1 features three episodes from
the original 1980 broadcast ( the footage has been
transferred from the analog VHS tape to DVD and i think the quality
is good considering age and rarity)
