Donald Byrd at one of the best and also controversial moments in his career, the grey area between his post-bop days and his more funky period
documented by the Blue Note sessions of the early-mid 70's.
This previously unseen footage is by far superior to any other source actually circulating on the website i.e. the YouTube segments and others,
moreover this is the original 35 minutes "Montreux Special" originally recorded for broadcast by the Swiss TV.
