"TANGLEWOOD '70" DVD R (expanded version)
This expanded DVD is longer than the common version of the same concert that ends after 'Dharma For One', at the 57 minutes mark. This version changes to a new source at that point and continues on for an additional 19 minutes for a total 76 minutes long.
During the summer of 1970, Bill Graham presented an extraordinary series of concerts at Tanglewood, the renowned classical music venue located in the scenic Berkshire Hills of western Massachusetts, called "The Fillmore at Tanglewood".
The first show, on July 7, featured It's A Beautiful Day, Jethro Tull and the Who. The second, on July 21, was supposed to be the Preservation Hall Jazz Band, John Sebastian and Joe Cocker, but Chicago ended up replacing Joe Cocker. The third concert, on August 18, featured the Voices of East Harlem, Miles Davis and Santana. These concerts were filmed by 'Bill Graham Presents' for an intended television special and have never been commercially released.
Recorded live in Lenox, Massachussets, USA, 'Tanglewood Music Shed' - July 7, 1970
Ian Anderson: vocals, acoustic guitar, flute
