The straws are cut from real bamboo stalks – nothing re-compressed or processed. Our bamboo is native to Java Island, Indonesia. Each straw is cut from a single stem of bamboo, unique in its own variance of color, thickness, texture and diameter. No pesticides or chemicals are used while growing or cleaning these straws.
