You can use the factory controls and wire to the factory wiring. To do this also use the included wiring kit but instead of running the power off the battery as indicated in the directions run the power directly off the factory head lamp harness. Next mount the included switch somewhere out of sight such as under the steering column. This way you can leave the included switch in the on position and can control these lamps using the factory switch. The reason for leaving the included switch and harness is so you can toggle between the fog/driving and the halo light function so the 3rd function is not lost with the factory switch which is only 2 function.Are these head lights original equipment manufactured? No, these head lights are manufactured by BlingLights. Many of our customers are able to install our head light kit in a period of approximately 45 minutes to 2 hours. More involved installations may require drilling to position the lights where you want them. This kit includes mounting brackets that mount independently of the factory mounting points. The end result will be a clean look if done with care.
