Vintage Japan Japanese Pattery Moriage Lusterware Figural Elephant Cigarette Match Holder Ashtray
Beautiful decoration with some gilding. The ashtray portion is finished inside in gold lusterware. There is a "saddle bag" on each side of the elephant to hold cigarettes or matches. In excellent mid century vintage condition with no chips cracks or damage. Measures approximately 6.5" log by 5" high by 4.25" deep. Marked in red Handpainted Japan and an "M."
