Vogue 8696 Sewing Pattern Misses' Dress w/ Draped Bodice 1930s Size 18
Vogue 8696; © late 1930s or early 1940s; One-Piece Dress: This dress features the draped bodice. Three-piece skirt in long or regulation length and long fitted or short draped sleeves. A straight extension band outlines the deep V neck, forms a drawstring through casings below neck and at waist, where ends tie in a bow. The skirt is flared at front and joins the bodice on a shaped seam below waist.

Cut and unmarked pattern except for perforations and notches. It is complete with no missing pieces. Pattern tissue has age discoloration, creases and a few small tears, but it is in very usable condition. Instruction sheet is aged with a few tears and missing upper piece - doesn't affect the instructions. Envelope has discoloration and wear. One side is split - see all pictures.
This pattern is probably from somewhere between 1938 and 1942 based on the price of the book suggested on instruction sheet and hairstyles.
