Victorian Trade Card - Arbuckle Brothers Coffee Company - Girl with Flowers in Apron (#73)
SERIES: Birds and Miscellany
This is one of a series of 50 cards issued by Arbuckles' in the 1880's depicting birds (#51-#69) and other miscellaneous subjects (#70-#100), and advertising their "Ariosa" coffee. This one shows a young girl wearing a floppy hat and carrying a bunch of flowers in her apron.
The back carries Arbuckles' familiar "4 Points" sales pitch.
SIZE: 5" x 3"
DATE: Not dated, but likely late 1880s
LITHOGRAPHER: Not identified
CONDITION: Poor, I'd say, but perhaps it can serve as a space filler in your collection until a better card comes along. The card is moderately soiled on the front and has multiple large areas of surface paper loss on the back. The edges and corners are somewhat worn and there's a small tear in the lower right edge. (Please see scans).
MULTIPLE ITEM SHIPPING DISCOUNT: I will ship up to 4 cards for the single base shipping charge shown. For purchases of more than 4 cards, the shipping charge will increase by just a small increment for every 4 additional cards.
