Strikingly Beautiful Lithograph-JESUS CHRIST,Crown of Thorns
Lovely religious depiction of what the Christian faith is all about. Here is a famous illustration of JESUS CHRIST, with the CROWN OF THORNS on his head, portraying the Shroud of Turin.
Print is titled: Jesus Christ, u s . It is SIGNED, I believe, by the artist, in the upper right corner, Gob...not certain whom it is. The faded shroud surrounding this Holy face, can see blood running down his face. Print has a black border surrounding the picture. Happens to be securing attached, is on the inside of a booklet, so cardboard backing is a good support to picture, will frame up nicely.
Coloring is very rich and beautiful. Wonderful vintage 1930s-1940s lithograph. Measures 9 inches wide by 11 inches high. Overall with the backing measures 10 inches wide by 12-3/4 inches high. Some slight edge wear on left side, as we shown in our photos, at the bottom left corner is a crease. Minor and is not detracting. This lovely illustration will be stunning once framed.
