Early1900s Photograph Studio Picture-Victorian Bride and Groom
Wonderful fresh estate find, this lovely studio photograph picture of a new Bride and Groom. Obviously it dates approximately late 1800's to early 1900's. Her dress is beautiful with her high collar neck, boudice with lots of lace, puffy sleeves, close netting from the elbow to wrists. Lovely layers of lavish antique lacing and horizontal rows along the bottom. She has a rather large bouquet of flowers, appears to be roses and lilys. Hair upswept with a simple rose flower. Groom you can see has high button shoes.
Appears to be in excellent condition for its age. Was placed in a enclosed binded frame for protection. Frame measures 5-7/8" W x 8-1/2" H. Has cutouts on the frames back that allows you to either hang on wall, or as an easel to place on nightstand. Don't believe it was original to this actual picture. Front does indicate, HIXON'S (Studio), ELKHART, INDIANA. Then written in pen on front, Frank and Sabra Good.
Photograph measures approx. 3-1/2 to 3-3/4"W x 5-1/2 to 5-3/4" H. Again, could not take photograph from the frame, will leave that up to the new owner.
Shipping/Handling in the U.S. will be $5.50,Insurance Extra. (Always happy to combine items for shipping savings!).
