Many substances fluoresce under blacklight including, amber, tortoise, bakelite and some types of synthetic rubies, to name a few.
You will find many uses for the handy key-chain model or the pocket blacklight.
Please contact us for shipping outside of the United States.
Durable metal tube fits on your keychain. Comes with six, 1.5v button batteries, a metal key chain and a textile cord lanyard. Unlike inexpensive black lights, you don't have to hold down the button to make it stay on. It has an on/off button.
For bakelite, I recommend two types of testing. Sometimes black and white don't fluoresce much. We also sell Happich simichrome for bakelite testing.
