This is a brass stand that I think is intended to hold a planter or some other similar type of vessel. It is what I would call an inverted tripod. The supports are heron shaped. It measures approximately 8 1/2 inches wide and 5 1/2 inches high. As shown, it is in over all decent condition with some wear (rubs, and scratches for example) from age and normal use.
