Royal China Currier & Ives Berry Bowl The Old Farm Gate

Royal China Currier & Ives 5 3/4 inch berry or sauce bowl in blue and white. Use for fruit or dessert. The scene is "The Old Farm Gate." Wonderful scene of children playing and talking at the fence. There is no stamp on the bottom. In excellent condition - no chips, cracks or grazing. These were never used.

The Currier & Ives pattern is one of the most famous patterns produced by The Royal China Company. The Royal China Company operated from 1934 to 1986 out of Sebring, Ohio producing over 1,000 dinnerware patterns. The Currier & Ives pattern consists of different scenes based on Currier & Ives prints for the different dinnerware pieces. Royal produced this pattern from around 1950 through 1970. The Royal China Company was sold to Jeannette Glass around 1970 and this pattern was discontinued.
