The animal should always have water available. DOG:Use the cup inside the carton for accurate dosing and administer Nutribound® as follows: Body weight (kg) Nutribound® Amount 0-10 15-30 ml 10-20 30-50 ml > 20 50-70 ml This table is only for reference. CAT:Daily administration of 6 ml per kg body weight in one or several doses is recommended. Nutribound® can be given throughout the convalescence period, from the initial phase to the return to normal food. The recommended protocol is divided into 3 phases: Nutribound_fases.jpg 1. Beginning: From the earliest hours of the convalescence period, Nutribound® can be administered to the animal for rehydration and supply of essential nutrients. 2. Follow up: After 48 hours, the introduction of food is required. To increase tolerance in severely impaired animals, small, continuous doses of high-energy and highly digestible nutrients are recommended along with Nutribound® (eg Virbac's Nutri-plus gel). 3. Transition: Nutribound® can be administered with the normal diet to help the animal return to its eating habits.
