The plants have to be spaced 12-18 inches apart. The Collards plant is hot and cold weather tolerant. Collards Georgia is non-heading plant that has a mild, cabbage-like flavor which can be improved by a slight freeze. Collards is resistant to bolting and tolerant of heat and poor soil.
