Harness Leather Slide Ear Headstall GERMAN SILVER Floral Overlay Buckles NEW

Wonderful Hermann Oak leather with a narrowed slide ear and high quality German Silver and copper mounted stainless buckles. Amish made by Berlin Custom Leather of nice thick harness leather. The ear is not rolled but instead narrowed in the center and is super soft, not stiff like thick rolled ears can be.Hand rubbed with Saddle Butter and Skidmore's Leather Cream. The floral design buckles are from Weaver (#1939) and retail for $53.50 a pair by themselves. They give you the look of cowboy steel but are actually matte finished stainless steel, mounted with engraved German Silver and copper. 5/8" wide and adjusts from 43" down to about 33" with the existing holes.Buckles are securely sewn and riveted in. The last photo is of another pair of identical buckles which I sold recently on another headstall. They are 1-1/2" at the widest point and 1-5/8" long. 1" slotted bit end conchos are thick vintage stainless steel from Martin Saddlery. They are notmarked and were pulled unused from a headstall more than 20 years ago.
