This double feature DVD includes two classic 1937 films of The Shadow -- The Shadow Strikes and International Crime. These two old Shadow prints were rescued from the murky hideout of film collector "Pistol" Paul Adair.

The Shadow Strikes (1937, 62 minutes) - Starring Rod LaRocque. The owner of a large estate is mysteriously shot and killed and leaves an 11 million dollar fortune. The heirs begin fighting over the inheritance and soon underworld figures move in to steal the prize. The only hope for the innocent heir to claim the fortune is...the Shadow.

International Crime (1937, 87 minutes) - Starring Rod LaRocque and Astrid Allwyn. Enter the Shadow...Lamont Cranston, into the scene of a murder of a wealthy businessman. Bullets fly as our sleuth searches for the killers. The plot thickens as foreign agents appear and launch a diabolical scheme to extort a fortune from the dead man's brother. As night approaches, goose bumps will creep up your spine as The Shadow once again attempts to prove that crime does not pay.
