This Khukuri is the exact replica of the original one owned by Jung Bahadur Rana, the first Prime Minister of Nepal who came to power in 1846. This style of Khukuri was widely used during his dynasty in the 19th and 20th century. This khukuri is a perfect show piece and a collection item with historic background rarely found today. its 13" blade is made of high graded Carbon steel (spring of vehicles) with balance water temper on the edge so its very strong.5" iron handle is similar to the traditional Nepali swords called "Tarbar" in Nepal.
