Ayutthaya stucco temple Buddha head 15-18thc

Ayutthaya period 1350-1767 temple stucco Buddhist head , this piece came from a larger then life sized sculpture. There are traces of pigment on the face and some reds in the lip area. there are losses to the hair and he has totally lost one ear .There is a very similar head in the asian art museum San Francisco from the Avery Brundage collection they are possibly from the same temple of Wat Phra. size over all H 20 1/2" head only h 13 1/2" w 9" d 9" base is 7" square about 60 pounds
