It has the general shape of a pumpkin, but with more angular edges and a slightly flattened look. If you're looking for a great winter squash that stores for months, you've just found the very best! The flesh within the hard green rind is golden-orange, fine textured, and stringless. The exterior is good-looking too: never warty or pocked, and very uniform in size from fruit to fruit on the plant.
