Running of the Cougar Print

The cougar or puma or mountain lion & a host of other nicknames it's called by is definitely an animal that stirs up a lot of controversy; no where more so than where it's natural range still is. But all controversy aside this animal is a major player in the natural scheme & does deserve our respect. In light of this, I painted this beautiful cougar running through his home range with contrasting trees & broken trees- maybe cut down by humans or perhaps due to a storm. The backdrop of a serene mountain with a wonderful bald eagle in the sky helps to add a touch of calm & how all nature is interlinked.
