Nelson's Perpetual Loose-Leaf Encyclopedias 1920 Vol II
Editor in Chief: John H. Finley, LL.D
University of the State of New York (Commissioner of Education and President)
Canadian Editor: Sir William Peterson, LL.D.,K.C.M.G. (McGill University - president
European Editor: Sir Edward Parrott, M.A.,LL.D.,F.E.I.S. Edinburgh, Scotland.
Published by Thomas Nelson and Sons, New York, USA
These are quite a rare find, and in decent shape for their age. The paper has yellowed and the binders have seen a lot of use. The colour plates are exquisite, as are the black and white drawings/photo's. This is a collectors dream, as I have not seen anything quite like these books or their bindings
They are a bit unique in that all the interior pages are loose leaf held in place by a metal "spine" and protected by thick hard covers with marbleized end pages.
Photo's are generic from my listing of all 6 books
The Cover is ripped slightly on the spine and it appears that there is water damage on the face....because of the age time has discoloured the pages...but it is still a wonderful book of yesteryear 29
