This is an example from Blome's series of larger county maps published in his Britannia in 1673. The map is framed and unmounted. It features an elaborate cartouche which contains a dedication to the Marquise and Earl of Worcester; a mileage scale and title cartouche in the form of a garland. It shows towns, villages, hundreds, estates, rivers (Severn and Avon) and hills. The map is in good original condition with fold and 2 small tears at the top see close up photo.
