Original 8x10 glossy photo of country music artist Bob Shaffer (1917-2005). Photos were sent by Shaffer himself in 1950 while he was working at WKNX, Saginaw, Michigan, hosting the popular Bob Shaffer's WKNX Good Neighbor Show. We know this, as they were found in the original 1950 mailing envelope.
He later joined the legendary WLS Barn Dance in Chicago. A native of Clarksburg, West Virginia, Shaffer also headed a band called The Saddle Pals.
Photo is in excellent+ condition and unused. These are the last remaining Bob Shaffer photos from the estate. Get the original photo as sent by Bob himself in 1950!
This item comes directly from the estate of Charles "Chaw" Mank Jr. (1902-1985), noted songwriter, author, bandleader, record producer, sheet music publisher, psychic, radio personality, silent movie theater organist, world champion pen pal, inveterate collector and Hollywood/music fan club pioneer.
