No. 500-4A - Grommet Hole Cutter .C.S.Osborne & Co. No. 500-4A creates a precise 1/2" hole . It is the ideal companion tool to the C.S.Osborne No. 217-4 Grommet Setter. Next, set the grommets with C.S.Osborne & Co. Grommet Setter No. 217-4 . Size 4 plained rimmed grommets have a 9/16" diameter hole when set in, 1.120 " out side diameter, and 0.320" Length under flange . Osborne grommet dies are numbered to correspond with standard size grommets. The dies are guaranteed to set the proper size and style Osborne grommets. Grommet dies and cutters should be used with an Osborne rawhide hammer or wooden mallet, not with a steel hammer. We recommend C.S.Osborne & Co. No. 395 rawhide hammers for this purpose. This kit sets plain rim grommets and washers. Male sits flat on base of the 216 setter for perfectly set plain grommets. These tools are CNC machined from high grade tool steel, Properly machined and hardened. The finest industrial grommet cutters and dies made. For best results use only Osborne grommets and washers G1-00, B1-00, N1-00 & SS-00 . Mallet and washers not included.
