Item Description:
Inspired from the comic book pages of the Vampire Superheroine, we present the Vampirella Tooned Up Statue. Sideshow Collectibles has partnered with Tracy Mark Lee of Electric Tiki to create this new, highly stylized version of the shapely raven haired vixen, Vampirella. This lovely Creature of the Night was created by the following vampiric artisans, Tracy Mark Lee (Sculpt & Design), Mireya Romo-Bowen (Paint), Ruben Procopio (Sculpt) and The Sideshow Design & Development Team.
Vampirella's first appearance was in Warren Publishing's black & white horror comic magazine, Vampirella #1, September 1969. She was created by Forrest J. Ackerman and costume designer Trina Robbins. The cover art for the first issue was created by the fantasy master, Frank Frazetta.
Cast out of Eden for her willfulness, Adam's first wife Lilith found asylum in Hell where she mated with demons, spawning vampires who in turn sought to vengefully destroy the earthly offspring of Adam and Eve. When Lilith finally sought redemption, she gave birth to Vampirella, whom she sent to Earth to atone for her mistakes and eradicate the world of evil vampires.
With superhuman strength, speed, and ferocity, Vampirella can shapeshift into a bat and mesmerize humans with her intense stare. Unlike many of her vampire brethren, she has no weakness to daylight, holy water, garlic, or religious icons, but her greatest power lies in her iconic beauty and irresistible sensuality.
The Vampirella Tooned Up Statue was hand produced in the highest quality polystone. The daughter of Lilith is dressed in her iconic signature costume, with her raven hair flying, perched atop a 'Spooky Woods' display base with her companion, Butchie the Bat, on her arm. Each piece is hand painted & finished to the highest standards which Sideshow and Electric Tiki are known for. The Statue's dimensions are 10.5"H X 3.5"W X 4"D overall and weighs approximately 5 lbs. boxed.
