Vintage Heavy Metal Prancing Horse Display Figurine Base Not Attached
Vintage Heavy Metal Prancing Horse Display Figurine
Prancing Metal Horse Vintage Decorative Figurine or Book End Very Heavy Item
Great majestic horse in prancing stance in this very nice vintage metal item. Horse has the leather harness on. Is shown on a platform which depicts a dimensional area of grass and clover leaves.
The horse is a very heavy statue. The body of the horse shows some wear as it appears to have been a copper finish at one time.
*****PLEASE NOTE: The base platform IS NOT PART OF THIS HORSE.......
SELLING JUST THE HORSE FIGURE, WHICH LOOKS FANTASTIC WITHOUT THE BASE. THE PICTURE SHOWN IS AN OLD PICTURE.......
This heavy metal horse had been sprayed in a glossy black paint which makes it more desirable. (A few minor paint runs, rubs). Striking color.
Measures 8-1/2 inches high, 9 inches long, 3-1/8 inches deep. There is no manufacturers mark that I can see.
I am not familiar with scrap metal indentafication. A magnet DOES NOT stick to this horse. It appears that it might be a combination of different metals?? The base could be pot metal, the main horses' metal looks different. Could be brass or bronze, or a “Copper alloy” ??.
Buying As Is.
