HERBERT T. CONNOR - Rockland, Massachusetts - 1950s(?) Vintage Matchbook Cover
Description: Here's an interesting vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from Herbert T. Connor, who specialized in Plumbing, Heating and Oil Burners, and was located on Myrtle St. in Rockland, Massachusetts. The phone number is given in the old style as "TRI 7-0497".
There's no printing on the inside.

Actual Size: approx. 2" x 1.5" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but that old-style phone number probably puts it in the 1950s (or perhaps early 1960s)
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is just a bit soiled but the striker strip area has some damage from the careless removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional set of staples holes which pass through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
