CASTELLANA HILTON Hotel - Madrid, Spain - Vintage Matchbook Cover
Description: Here's a nice vintage standard-sized matchbook cover from The Castellana Hilton Hotel, located in Madrid, Spain.
The inside contains a list of all the Hilton hotels that were in existence at the time it was printed.

Actual Size: approx. 2" x 1.5" (closed)
Date: Not dated, but the list of Hilton hotels that existed at the time should help to pin down an approximate date.
Condition: Good, I'd say. The cover is only lightly soiled and the striker strip doesn't appear to show any evidence of actual use. However, the striker strip does have significant damage resulting from the rough removal of the staple that held the matches. There's also an additional set of staple holes which pass through the striker strip and both sides of the cover. (Please see scans.)
