Due to the limited supply of deerskin leather and its continually increasing costs, Footskins® has been searchng for an adequate substitute to fill their customers' needs for soft, durable leather. New Deertan leather does indeed measure up.
This new leather is especially tanned to Footskins' specifications by an American tannery to have the look and feel of deerskin leather. It has the added bonus of being more durable - and as a result, is easy to care for. Footskins® is enthused about the possibilities of this newest leather.
For those of you who have come to enjoy the look and feel of deerskin, Footskins® is still offering a limited selection of styles in genuine deerskin leather which is being featured in this store.
For general sizing guidelines for Footskins® Footwear, since these are only available in whole sizes, it is recommended that people who wear half sizes go down a half size, unless they have wide feet. For people with wide feet, it is suggested to go up a half size. Customers who wear whole sizes usually order their normal shoe size.

*Sorbo Air® insoles are made of advanced air-infused Sorbothane® foam that provides maximum protection, comfort and support. Sorbothane® insoles absorb up to 94.7%% of impact shock and do not bottom out and lose effectiveness. Sorbothane® insoles are recommended by doctors as a defense against foot pain, back pain and impact related injuries.
