This is a very nice old Federal Glass cake plate. It was made in the 30's or 40's, so you will find some wear on these smooth glass pieces, but that's from utensils rubbing on it.If you feel around the edge you can feel some fleabites (also from utensils), but, It's not chipped. Its 11 1/2 inches wide and stands about 3/4 inches high, the plate is flat and has feet on the bottom (makes it easy to pick up and set back down). It's in very nice condition for a cake plate over 75 years old!Very nice addition to your holiday table. Thanks for looking!
