How To Use

The patented LifeStraw is a small polymer tube with custom-built filters inside. Place

the round meshed end in unfiltered fresh-water (can be in a glass, water bottle, river,

lake, or puddle), and drink the instant clean water up through the top of the LifeStraw.

For the first use, it takes a few extra seconds to prime the LifeStraw for water to flow

freely. Anyone who can drink with a straw can easily use a LifeStraw.

Before each use, uncap the LifeStraw and hold it vertical in water for about a minute.

This allows the water to siphon up into the filter membrane. Then do five quick sips

and the water will flow easily. When drinking from muddy or swampy water, you may

have to blow back down into it to clear out the turbidity if the flow slows down or stops.
