A beautiful vintage scarf traditionally for men's dress coats but these days could easily be worn by women.
The scarf is from Forsyth, made in England half a century ago. The scarf is double thickness silk printed in a wine red and deep pine green paisley. It has dark green at the ends and knotted fringe in red and green.
The scarf is 18 x 46 inches. The fringe adds 3 inches to each end. It is worn folded in half lengthwise making it a warm 4 ply scarf for winter.
This scarf has a small problem which when worn folded as intended will not show. While the scarf shows no indication of being worn someone has deliberately cut a tiny piece of silk out of one ply. This is shown in a photo. The flaw is about 1.5 inches long and .25 inch wide.
The green is really dark green. Think pine forest in the dark.
