Hunter and Hare / Rabbit Go-With Salt & Pepper Shakers

These vintage shakers represent a hunter dressed in overalls with a shotgun and a white hare, or rabbit. They are hand painted ceramic. The hunter is in a cartoony style, while the hare is more realistic looking. These are known as a go-with set and are a collectible category on their own. The paper label on the bottom looks like ''The Union News Co'' and then there's a stamped © sign. Height: 3½ inches (8.9 cm) and 2 inches (5.1 cm). Excellent condition! (#6030-Y)
