She lives with her family and two sons in Navi Mumbai. She did Post-graduate in Economics from Calcutta University. She started her career with a NGO in Delhi. She then did a few freelancing projects as well as worked with a Management Consultancy Firm for a few years. Chandrama later got married and blessed with two sons. She is a caring mother and dedicates herself to rear up her kids. It was during that period, she discovered her passion for writing though she couldn't pursue it due to paucity of time. But that did not deter her spirit and resolve. She got a degree in teaching from Mumbai University so that she could fulfil her dream in teaching and writing. Now, she is teaching Economics in the higher grades for Cambridge curriculum in a school of repute in Nerul (Navi), Mumbai. Her other field of interests are dance and listening to Rabindra Sangeet.
