There are no chips, cracks or flaking of thehandpainted design, however,there is wearing of the gold rimand some "black specks" on the side of one plate, but theylook like manufacturing defects.Each lovely plate measures 7 1/2" round and is marked on the back in green, which dates it from around 1920.
