Full Canvas Construction:
Did you ever wonder how people in magazines or movies look so great in a suit? Buying an expensive name brand won’t get you that look. A tailored suit would be the answer, but not all are created equal. What most people don’t know is that practically all suits are either constructed using one of two methods. The cheapest and most plentiful is the fused suit (fabric is glued together). It saves money, but the suit gives the wearer a boxy shape and stiff look with the glue deteriorating over time, leaving the suit prone to bubbling. The other common method is a half canvas (a canvas running from the shoulder to the breast with the rest being glued). This provides a natural drape, but a somewhat stiff look from the glued parts below the breast.
A third method and least common construction technique is a full canvas. Think of a canvas as the skeleton or base that is sewn by hand between the shell of the fabric and the lining. It stretches from the shoulders to the end of the jacket. This is crucial in providing a natural drape of the jacket over your entire body, over time molding to your unique body shape. Your unique form is held in place, especially when walking around town, with the jacket moving with you. Ultimately, the longevity of this type of construction is unmatched, lasting years to decades with proper care.
This method of construction is labor intensive and time consuming, meaning the costs are a lot higher when compared to other methods (especially fused suits or half canvassed suits), but our process enables us to provide this stunning level of craftsmanship at reasonable prices considering the time and skill involved.
Fabric and Materials:
Our fabrics are between Super 100s - 120s, looking and feeling exquisite, but also long-lasting and durable. We have decided to use Merino wool because it embodies these qualities while still remaining affordable. We source our fabrics from either Chinese or Italian manufacturers.
Continuing with quality materials, the lining used is Bemberg so your suit breathes more efficiently, letting you feel comfortable in all sorts of weather. To give your suit the proper accents we use horn buttons that gives it that tailored look that off-the-rack suits lack.

This is a Canadian owned and operated company. We are an 8 person team lucky enough to be located in Shanghai, the hub of tailored clothing, especially suits. Even luxury brands like Prada, Burberry, Armani and many other brands of that ilk have moved their manufacturing to China citing the quality of craftsmanship. Shanghai, with its 20+ million residents, in particular, draws in the most talented people that China has to offer and when choosing a tailor, it counts immensely to be able to choose from such a large pool of skilled tailors. This city also provides limitless options when it comes to fabrics, buttons, skilled labor etc.

Please email us your measurements or receive a detailed guide from us. It only takes 10 minutes to take your measurements.
Shipping:
We ship around the world. The shipping cost is included in the final price and a tracking number will be provided. We ship using DHL. It will usually take 2 weeks to deliver, but if there are any delays then we will contact you as soon as possible. Please note that customs costs are not covered by us, so the customer will need to pay for these charges if they arise.
Perfect fit:
If the fit isn’t to your liking then we will cover some, most or all of the cost depending on the amount of the bill when bringing it to a local tailor for alterations. All of our customers are eligible for a credit of up to $60 USD for alterations at a local tailor. Proof of service (a receipt) with a detailed listing of the alterations will be needed to claim the funds. Please contact us as soon as possible before bringing it to a tailor.
