Colorado Aspen is the preferred material for these cigar store Indian sculptures.
This hand carved wooden figure is painted with a red coat and decorated with a sacred Buffalo on his chest. He wears a traditional feather headdress that extends to his waist. He carries a can of cigars and wears a large knife. The colors of this wooden statue range from neutral hues of tan and brown to more vibrant hues of forest green, red, teal, blue and golden yellow. He stands on a base that represents a pow-wow drum. This fabulous wooden Cigar Store Indian is approx 6 feet tall, including the 15 1/2” base, and is signed F. Gallagher. A two page copy of an article about the Gallagher family will be included.
