The hands overlap one another displaying the 'Dhyana' mudra, the attainment of spiritual perfection, gesture Buddha is depicted wearing a long monastic robe diagonally over the left shoulder, leaving the right shoulder and breast uncovered, with the end fold of the robe draped below his chest, and indicated by incised lines.
