Twilley’s Needlecraft Tapestry Kit – Burghley House
Burghley is one of the largest and grandest houses of the Elizabethan Age. Built and mostly designed by William Cecil, Treasurer to Queen Elizabeth I, between 1555 and 1587. William Cecil was father-in-law to Shakespeare (Edward De Vere) and a shrewd businessman. A delight to have one of England's grandest homes in needlepoint.
