Named the rarest gemstone on earth in 2006 by the Jewelers Association, & in not only the top 10 rarest, but top 5 rarest by almost any other in the industry! Bixbite, red Emerald, red Beryl, these are all names this beautiful red gemstone goes by. The red member of the Beryl family, with it's siblings Emerald, Aquamarine, Morganite, Heliodor, has a rich red color. Sizes larger then a .50ct are extremely hard to come by.
