This is the beautiful designer signed Avon 1988 "Duchess Collection" from Kenneth Jay Lane's line he developed for Avon. He corroborated with Avon to create a high end line of jewelry.
This beautiful designer signed collection is Kenneth Jay Lane's "Duchess Collection" that includes a breathtaking 19" necklace made up of hematite black beads with a magnificent panther head enhancer. The panther is studded with crystals and has emerald green eyes. The 6" bracelet (small) is a gold-tone bangle with black tips and crystal accents. The pierced earrings are black cabochons with emerald green centers and crystal accents set in gold-tone and measure ¾" by 1". Notice the black in each of these pieces has a swirling motion creating beautiful patterns. This magnificent panther's face was designed with a silvery molten look and green rhinestone accents; the bracelet (small) ~ with this gorgeous silvery molten look on the top of the bracelet along with the rhinestone accents; & the pierced earrings ~ with the same emerald colored centers to match the emerald colored eyes of the panther, with the beautiful molten look on each side. These are signed on the back cartouche with "K.J.L. for Avon". These are pre-owned, in excellent vintage condition and will be shipped in a jewelry box.
Kenneth Lane signed his pieces "KJL for Avon" from 1986 through 1995. In 2000, he began to sign his pieces simply "KJL".
