Exquisite all hand sewn and embroidered hand towels made of fine white linen. The Madeira style embroidery is in pale blue with threadwork details. The embroidered ends of the towels have scalloped buttonhole stitched hems. The other edges are hand sewn. They are 15 x 21 inches. One is in perfect condition and the other has some faint stains that I know I can lighten and perhaps remove entirely. No wear spots or other damage. The blue does not show as blue on my screen but it is quite definitely pale silvery blue.
