Hello. I spent nearly 10 years selling on that other site (you can check my feedback there; It's under the same ID as this one; over 3200 positives, 99.7%). But I thought I'd give this new site a try.
I'm just getting started here, so please excuse the amateur appearance. I'll have the place looking better shortly.

"With fast songs about faster women and slow death: Glitzkreig is a kamikaze-glitter romp that sounds like it was written and cut in L.A. in 1973 by a band of recovering libertines, then stuffed into a closet full of broken mirror balls and ruined, stacked-heel boots for thirty years. The Spiders, in fact, are modern, heavy-glam lads from Austin, Texas, who rock with the crunchy attention to detail of period scholars. The riffs and wrecking-ball power chords combine the punch and sizzle of early Cheap Trick and Killer-era Alice Cooper, while singer-guitarist Christopher Benedict has a bit of elfin Devo running through his yelp: Mark Mothersbaugh channeling Marc Bolan." Glitzkrieg is a good title. Chords and riffs walk the northern night, when they want to, and the singing is glam all the way, doesn't go near Lemmy's death rasp or Ozzy's baying. It's got a swish in its hips, and ham and mockery in its tone. This is a nice contrast, the tuney singing balancing the gloomy playing. Gloom is only a piece of it, anyway, since the guitar will abandon ye olde metal chords for the psychedelic ward, will ape French police sirens, will gallop to the boogie and skip along with dance beats. The singer takes this pose and that, from Iggybilly to elfin. And there's even a track called "Hollywood Hills" that sounds like '80s hairmetal."
