Book is SIGNED by the author Alive Eyre. In the same hand writing is written "Centennial of California Edition 1849-1949" and "Sponsored and used by California Historical Foundation." There are notes in the book. It looks like the author might have used this First Edition to make corrections for the new edition. Nice brown leatherette cover with beige spine. No dust jacket. Vintage photos/illustrations through out. Binding is tight.We have other signed books in our E-Bay store.
