Made by hand by skilled Hmong silversmiths in Southeast Asia (along the border of Laos and China) collected during our travels to the tribal villages last fall.
This is a cuff bracelet traditionally worn by the Hmong tribal women to bring good luck. Silver is believed to keep evil spirits away and the dramatic spike features are to exaggerate the form of the silver and make it more noticeable to the spirits.
The metal is a mixture of silver and brass, metal traditionally used by this tribe.
7.5" (19 cm) inner circumference.
An incredible cuff bracelet that represents the high quality of Hmong tribal craftsmanship and their long cultural heritage.
Absolutely spectacular.
